THBS2, thrombospondin 2 gene: Click to Expand ⟱
| Source: |
| Type: |
THBS2 derived from specific subsets of Cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs), defined as THBS2 + CAFs, correlated with dismal prognosis and EMT(epithelial-mesenchymal transition) activity across various cancer types.
Thrombospondin-2 (THBS2) is highly expressed in various tumors and participates in angiogenesis of various tumors by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.
