OV6 is a monoclonal antibody that recognizes a specific antigen expressed on the surface of certain cancer cells, particularly those of epithelial origin. The OV6 antigen is a glycoprotein that is overexpressed on the surface of many types of cancer cells.
OV6+ refers to a specific subset of cells that express the OV6 antigen. In other words, OV6+ cells are cells that have been identified as expressing the OV6 antigen, typically using the OV6 antibody.
