Rad, Radiotherapy/Radiation: Click to Expand ⟱
Features:
Treatment of disease with radiation, especially by selective irradiation with x-rays or other ionizing radiation and by ingestion of radioisotopes.

Radiosensitizer
Atorvaqone, (mitochondria inhibitor) decrease O2 consumption making more O2 available as a radiosensitizer.

Type:
PPARγ Coactivator 1-alpha (PGC1A) is a transcriptional coactivator that plays a crucial role in regulating cellular energy metabolism, including glucose and lipid metabolism. In cancer, PGC1A has been implicated in the regulation of tumor cell metabolism, proliferation, and survival.

PGC1A is typically overexpressed and associated with poor prognosis and reduced overall survival in breast, lung, and colon cancers.
-PGC1A expression is also associated with increased risk of metastasis and recurrence in various types of cancer.
