| TRAF2 - TNF Receptor Associated Factor 2 Type: Signaling adaptor / E3 ubiquitin ligase-associated protein Function: TRAF2 is a signaling adaptor recruited by multiple TNF receptor superfamily members and forms complexes with proteins including cIAP1/BIRC2, cIAP2/BIRC3, RIPK1, and other signaling regulators. Amplification or increased TRAF2 signaling has been reported in several malignancies, although its effects depend on receptor and downstream signaling context. |
