Trop2 is a cell surface glycoprotein that has been associated with various types of cancer. It is a member of the epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) family and is involved in cell-cell adhesion, cell signaling, and cell migration.
Overexpressed in: breast, lung, CRC, prostate.
Trop2 has also been identified as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Trop2 expression are associated with poor prognosis and reduced overall survival in patients with various types of cancer.
