High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) is a biomarker that measures inflammation in the body. Research has shown that elevated levels of hs-CRP are associated with an increased risk of various types of cancer.
• hs-CRP:
+ Normal: < 1 mg/L
+ Elevated: 1-3 mg/L (may indicate chronic inflammation)
+ High: > 3 mg/L (may indicate increased cardiovascular risk or chronic inflammation)
