Filter options allow to:
1. Filter on a Product to review research and pathway, to see if the pathways are synergistic with current therapy pathways.
2. Filter on a Target/Pathway(and effect) to find other Products that might work in Synergy with the Therapy Pathways.
3. Filter on a Cancer to find pathways in research.
4. Combination of above.

Filtering tips:
1. To see how to improve the efficacy of a product, filter on the efficacy target in the up direction , and click the check box to include the target notes in the results. Listed at the bottom is the Scientific Paper hit counts and links for each product.
2. To see the things that decrease the efficacy, filter on efficacy in the down direction, (include check box for target notes). Note: that is also shows experimental results such as when anti-oxidants (NAC) are used to purposely test if the effect is attenuated (such as ROS). You may optionaly use the browser search and highlight all function to find all the occurances of NAC
3. For BioAvailability information on a product, filter on the "bioavailability" target, (optionally specify direction) and click the check box to include the target notes in the results.
3b. For BioEnhancers you need to look at the target notes as the search result may be for a product that benefits from a bioEnchancer. Sonoporation is effectively a bioenhancer too.
4. You can narrow the search down to only Trials or Case Reports by selecting it in the Research Model.
5. Other interesting targets to query: RadioProtective, RadioSensitizer, ChemoProtective, ChemoSensitizer

Addition Requests and Corrections:
1. If you found a Research Paper that should be added, 1st do a title search to verify if it is in the database.
2. If you found an Addition or Data Entry Error, Contact us thru this email form. with the full information.

Compare Products
This Database gives you the ability to compare Products. By Selecting 2 or more products, you can compare the targets affected, and their direction to help verify if the products would synergize with each other. Optionally you can narrow down the query on specific set of targets and effect directions.

possible problems for query analysis:
-target direction for therapy may be desireable in both directions as different strategies. (ROS example)
-targets vary for different cell lines and cancers in same report
-targets direction varies for different concentrations.
-synergies of reports (paper may list more that one product) may affect target directions if interpreting as single product.
-errors in research papers, or errors of interpretation.
-review papers may affect the counting results as duplicates.
-extracts vs products (which may contain many compounds).
-nano or lipid formations.
-caution where the effect is. ie cancer cells or in normal cells as it is often selective.
Example the lowering of apoptosis in normal T-cells is desireable so the target cells have effect on the direction of the target.

We recognize the reality that all matter and life has been designed, and the designer is our Lord and God. This research reflects that statement in the observation of the huge number of cellular "pathways" studied that are all dependent on each other, and work together. And that is just the cellular level! It is miraculous! What a design! He is worthy of all praise, as His creation is truly amazing.
